What is U&I Women's Conference?
The Uplift & Inspire Womens Conference was founded in 2022, to uplift and inspire women across the Llano Estacado region. The U&I Conference is holding an annual conference held annually to empower women to live their best life.
Who goes to the U&I Women's Conference?
Women of all ages from various economic, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Most of the attendees are from the greater Lubbock area, but many come from throughout Texas and New Mexico. And men are always welcome! Several attended last year’s event.
Does U&I Women's Conference distribute their mailing list?
NO! The U&I Women’s Conference does NOT share, sell or distribute their mailing list in any fashion.
Where and when is the conference held?
U&IWC is held annually on a Tuesday in October at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Our Conference will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Usually, the conference is held from 7:30am to 5:15 p.m. For Directions please visit 2023 Conference Page.
How much does Uplift & Inspire Women's Conference cost?
The cost to attend the U&IWC will be $139 per person.
Tickets include a continental breakfast, marketplace of exhibitors, warm-up speaker, keynote luncheon, 16 breakout sessions to choose from during four time slots, and a cool-down reception.
A $5 service fee per ticket is charged for credit card purchases.The cost for Students with a valid ID number is $75. Online registration is required for the student discount. Ticket prices increase approximately 6 weeks prior to the event.
Additionally, you can purchase scholarship tickets for $109.
What is the agenda for the Uplift & Inspire Women's Conference?
The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a healthy continental breakfast. The first keynote speaker session begins at 8 a.m. with opening remarks and the U&IWC Speaker. Attendees select 4 other sessions to attend throughout the day. From 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. lunch is served with our second keynote speaker. The Marketplace is available throughout the day, and scheduled breaks are included in the agenda. The day concludes with a cool-down session and reception. How is seating reserved for the keynote Luncheon?
Seating for the keynote luncheon is open seating except for sponsorships where tables are reserved.
What is the Marketplace?
The Marketplace is a trade show with more than 50 exhibitors that provide women with information about products and services. Attendees receive samples and information from a variety of businesses. In addition, visit the non-profit organization booths in their own area.
Are there special hotel rates/accommodations for the U&I Conference?
Our hotel partners are Aloft and Staybridge with a special rate of $109-119+ tax per room, double or single occupancy. Book early, as this rate is only available through Tuesday September 18th. Be sure to use the link from the website or mention you are with the Uplift and Inspire Wome’s Conference to receive the special ates!
Are meals provided?
Yes. Continental breakfast, lunch, hors d’oeuvres and beverages are provided throughout the conference.
Is there a dress code?
There is not a specific dress code for the conference, but business casual attire is what most people wear – and of course, comfortable shoes! Wearing conference theme colors is also not a requirement but is a popular choice!
How many attendees are expected?
Our capacity crowd for 2023 is 750 attendees.
